Asif has been with Halo from its’ infancy joining in December 2011. As Managing Director, Asif sets strategic direction and provides leadership and financial control for the Association. As an Executive Member of the Board of Management, Asif works closely with fellow Board Members to provide appropriate scrutiny to ensure that Halo are meeting their aims and objectives; and are financially sound. Asif leads on Halo’s business development and his key role is to form and manage stakeholder relationships and develop the future growth of the Association.
Asif is a highly skilled Director with considerable experience in the Housing with Care sector, delivering services to adults with complex and challenging needs. His passion and altruistic approach is central to his belief that everyone deserves the right to live with dignity and choice enhancing their quality of life. This vision translates to the Halo team’s person-centred approach. Asif demands the best from those around him, adopting an example-led approach to leadership and he has been synonymous with the success and growth of the organisation.
Ann joined Halo in March 2019. Ann brings a wealth of experience in Housing Management; having worked for a number of large North West based Social Housing Providers. In more recent years Ann has specialised in Income Management and Financial Inclusion. For many years Ann was employed as a Regional Manager, providing generic housing management services to a range of Social Housing Providers including Stock Transfer Associations. Ann is a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing.
Reporting into Asif and the Board; Ann is responsible for leading Halo’s Operations Team. In addition to overseeing the day to day operations of Halo’s front-line service around Repairs & Maintenance, Compliance and Tenancy Management; Ann leads on Governance for Halo.
Adam has a diverse range of skills and is someone that is a highly motivated individual with a proven track record in project and data management. His background in IT and property surveying helps Halo Housing in the development of bespoke systems – optimising the performance of the Maintenance and Repairs service at Halo Housing Association, ensuring that the portfolios repairs lifecycle is managed effectively in order to satisfy Key Performance Indicators. His meticulous, organised manner serves him well with prioritising his workload and demonstrates a real empathy towards the tenants that we provide housing and support services to. He is responsible for providing a value-for-money Maintenance and Repairs service that inculcates the needs of tenants meeting all applicable statutory requirements.
Ijaz joined Halo housing in 2022. Ijaz has over 19 years of experience of working within the housing sector, in both the private and public sector. Most recently working for a Local Authority Homelessness and Strategic Housing service. He provides day-to-day management to our person centred, Housing Services team. He leads on Tenancy Management, Arrears Recovery, Management of Anti-Social Behaviour, and all tenancy related issues. He ensures that staff are providing excellent customer service, and are ensuring that properties are maintained to a good standard. Ijaz complements his vast amount of experience with his academic accolades, having completed a Degree in Housing Studies, and a BA in Public Services Management.
Ben began his role at Halo Housing Association in September 2022, joining as Income Officer and bringing with him a wealth of experience from his extensive background in local government. Ben rotated through various departments within the council which helped him to develop a versatile skill set and a deep appreciation for public service. In 2016 Ben became a Housing Benefits assessor in 2016 building up an extensive knowledge of Benefit polices, entitlement and social welfare systems. This experience enabled Ben to work closely with our tenants, their representatives and local authorities to ensure rent accounts were kept up to date. In June 2023 Ben was given the new position of Income Team Leader where he oversees the day to day running of the Income Team.
