Coronavirus – Update
To protect our tenants and support staff, we will be carrying out emergency and urgent repairs only.
This is in response to Government advice to slow the spread of coronavirus and to support the NHS.
Any non-urgent works should be reported when the government advice changes.
If you require an urgent repair completing at your property, and you (or a member of your household) are self-isolating or have symptoms of coronavirus, please let us know when reporting the repair. When we arrive you must ensure you remain in a different room while we attend.
Statutory safety checks will continue for Gas, Fire, Asbestos, Electrical wiring and Emergency lighting.
Please only report a repair if your repair is urgent and are for:
- No heating or hot water
- Total or partial loss of power
- Sole toilet cannot be used
- Major leak in property
- Gaining access to a property
- Repairs to mains fed smoke alarm
- Tap that cannot be turned off
- Insecure door or window
- Dangerous floor, stair tread, or handrail
- Faulty door or window lock (Fire Exit Only)
- Emergency roof repair
- Repair to electric shower (if only form of bathing)
We’ll always take your circumstances into account when deciding on the urgency of the repair.
